I believe that it is important for my clients to feel listened to. At your first appointment we will discuss the areas that you would like to focus on and go over your health history. This allows me to have all of the information necessary to help you the best that I can. I always encourage my clients to communicate with me through out the session because you know your body better than I do and I want you to feel comfortable through out the appointment. I believe that it is important to see the body as a whole in order to get the root of the problem.
I have been practicing massage since 2004. Before opening my practice I spent many years working in a chiropractic office as both a Chiropractic Assistant and a Massage Therapist. I have worked with many athletes recovering from injuries and working to increase mobility. I have also worked with many clients suffering from chronic pain conditions such as Fibromyalgia, Migraines, TMJ and many other conditions.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you feel your best! If you have questions or you are still unsure if Body Remedi would be a good fit, Please feel free to call me with any questions you may have.
JFB® Myofascial Release is a gentle approach to relieving tension and pain that produces results that last longer than that of traditional massage. MFR uses gentle sustained pressure to relieve restriction in the fascial system which hinders movement of the muscles, decreases flexibility and can cause pain. MFR is helpful in treating chronic pain, Fibromyalgia, TMJ, Migraines, Soft tissue injuries and many other conditions.
The goal of Swedish Massage is to melt away muscle tension and increase the blood flow to your heart. Swedish Massage is extremely therapeutic as it decreases muscle toxins, increases oxygen levels in the blood, and improves flexibility in the body.
Deep Tissue Massage reaches deeper layers of muscles. It is used to break down knots and relieve pressure points throughout the body. This massage is beneficial for athletes and those who sit for long periods of time.
You will reap the benefits of massage if it becomes a regular part of your life. My goal is for us to work together to take better care of your health, long-term.
Communication is key. I need to know what you're feeling, experiencing and what you're looking to gain in order to best help you. In turn, I will explain the treatment and what you can expect to gain from it.
Massage is a tool to help heal. Whether it's stress, illness or simply to pamper yourself, the benefits of massage can be life changing. I would be honored to take that journey with you.
